100 Strangers

Meeting 100 people and taking their photo.

The 100 Strangers project is a fairly common project for photographers. The goal is to meet (at least) 100 random people in public and take their photo. I had heard about the project many times, but most recently saw a Flickr group named "100 Strangers" that prompted me to do it.

Some people, including those posting into that Flickr group, interview the people and ask a pre-defined set of questions that they post with the picture. Some simply take photos. The important thing that is consistent across variants of the project is that you approach complete strangers and ask to take their picture.

I am comfortable speaking to crowds, but one-on-one interactions with strangers still cause some anxiety. And I have good gear and some skills using it, but between lack of experience and the general overwhelming amount of imposter syndrome I have with my photography, I really want more practice posing people. So, here's my 100 Strangers.
